Overview: This service pack includes an emergency fix for application security purposes.


1. New Feature – CAPTCHA required at registration

  • Issue Summary: When creating a new TeamTexter® account, there was no security check, allowing bots to generate multiple accounts in an attempt to attack resources.
  • Resolution: Google CAPTCHA was added to the registration page, preventing mass registration attempts.
  • Impacts: New users will need to now verify CAPTCHA upon registration. (image next page)
